Silicon Valley Compensation Association By-laws I NAME The name of the organization shall be the Silicon Valley Compensation Association (SVCA), previously known as the Peninsula Compensation Association (PCA). II PURPOSES The purpose of the Silicon Valley Compensation Association is to provide its members with opportunities to network with other compensation professionals through participation in monthly meetings, workshops and seminars. Programs are designed to enhance members’ skills and knowledge of current research and legislation that affect employee compensation. This falls within the meaning of CA FTB RTC Section 23071(e). You may post your job ad to be listed online for a 60 day period. Website Job Ads are placed within 48 hours of payment and are available worldwide on the Internet. Job postings are free for members and $50 for non-members.

How to Post a Job Ad

Click on Submit a Job Posting. In order to submit a job posting you must be logged in. If you are not a member, click here to create a new account for this site. If you have previously created an account and need your access information, click here to request an e-mail with your login information.
Please post the ENTIRE ad (including job ad contact information) in the Description section of the job submittal page, then copy and paste your Job Ad information into the Required Experience and Skills sections, Website URL and contact information. If text is copied from MS Word, it is best to insert it by using the "Paste as Plain Text" icon in the toolbar. This cleans up the extra formatting and removes any HTML tags. The formatting can then be easily changed in the content editor.

Periodic meetings, communications, and educational programs are designed to enhance members’ compensation knowledge in the areas of current research and legislation/practices in all phases of employee compensation including wages, salaries, incentives, employee benefits and other forms of employee remuneration.

Click on Become a Sponsor. In order to submit a sponsorship add you must be logged in. If you are not a member, click here to create a new account for this site. If you have previously created an account and need your access information, click here to request an e-mail with your login information.
Please enter the company name or headline in the Headline field, select the Sponsor Directory category and then choose the appropriate subcategory for your ad. Then copy and paste your Sponsorship Ad information into the Body section, Website URL and contact information. Membership Overview

Membership Categories

SVCA offers three membership options: Company, Individual and SVCA Sponsor. Membership is on an annual, calendar basis (January 1 to December 31).

Member Company: Membership belongs to the member Company and the Company may add or change individual member representative(s) at their sole discretion. Individuals from each member company may attend meetings and are encouraged to represent their organizations interests in SVCA activities.

Individual Membership: If your company does not support association memberships, you may apply for an individual membership. Individual memberships are also available to compensation professionals working as in-house corporate consultants or to individuals in career transition. Individual members have all the rights of other member organizations.

Sponsor: Compensation services providers may apply to become an SVCA Sponsor. Individuals from sponsor companies may attend meetings and are encouraged to represent their ideas and expertise in SVCA programs and program development.

Membership Requirements

Companies and individuals interested in joining the Silicon Valley Compensation Association must complete a Membership Application and submit it to the SVCA Administrator for processing. All Membership Applications will be reviewed and acted upon by the SVCA Operating Committee. Prospective members will be notified of their membership status by the SVCA Administrator.
